About the Northwest Resource Center on CLAS and Health Disparities

The Northwest Resource Center has a 15-year history of providing information services to health and social service professionals.  The goal of the Northwest Resource Center is to provide current and often difficult to obtain resources on cross-cultural health care topics. Our sizable collection includes texts specific to immigrant and refugee communities in Washington State, interpretation and language access topics, journals and reference materials on public health issues, and current government documents and publications on the health status of diverse communities. Our future goals for collection development involve cataloging information about digital materials that are available on the Internet.
